Quick Easy Web Data with analog

For more than a decade now I’ve been using analog for web analytics where simple text based log files are the method of capture and no special analytics have been set-up.  You won’t get a pretty report out of it by default but if you have log files and you just need some data this tool is great for reading log files and producing results quickly.  The command line version requires no installation.  You copy the files, configure the analog.cfg file and run with the options you need.  Check it out at www.analog.cx.  By default it will read most log file formats and it produces HTML results.
